Kershaw County School District is shifting to an e-Learning Day for Monday, March 16, as severe weather is forecasted for our area. All school buildings and offices will be closed. All Monday after school activities and sporting events are also cancelled.
The Kershaw County School District (KCSD) will open its online pre-registration process for four- and five-year-old kindergarten classes for the 2026-2027 school year on January 26. Families are able to complete the process online but can also attend in-person help sessions if needed on Thursday, February 19. The online system will be open through February 27.

On Tuesday, September 2, the South Carolina Department of Education released the 2024-2025 English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science South Carolina College and Career Ready Assessments (SC READY) data for students in grades 3-8 and the End-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP) results.
